This 1861 Nova Scotia 1 Cent was a real eye opener. The entire legend, just kept on giving.

Hounddog, I believe you are correct. Mine has the break in the line over BRITT, the one posted by fourmack does not. I've found a few others where there is "almost" a break in the line but nothing like what I posted. I keep looking though.

But this is a 1861 New Brunswick 1 cent with a similar break

I'm not sure A break in the wire line around the border is all that reliable as it did tend to clog on these.
Take a closer look at the last letter in the obverse legend. That's what I noticed right off.
