It's 14 karat plumb, that is it is really, exactly 14K!

What's it on? The letters beside it look like hallmarks.

GF = gold filled
EP = electroplated


Keep in mind that I could carve 22K into the sidewalk ...doesn't make it turn to gold.

Nice little medal. No reason to believe it isn't gold.
