I believe what you are seeing is called plate blistering. No doubled die.

to CCF. Looks like a worn die to me. When you say DD,do you mean doubled die or double mint mark. A double mint mark is called an RPM (re-punched mint mark)

John1 has it correct. It is Die Deterioration. (A nice example that I would probably save because of the BU condition)
