Jefferson Nickel "clad Layer" Question...obv Discoloration?

Amysattic519 Valued Member United States 65 Posts	Posted 12/31/2015 5:52 pm So, I have come to understand that Jefferson nickels do not have a clad layer, therefor they cannot be missing one. So....what happened to the obv of this 2008 P nickel.... and how would you explain the obvious discoloration of the obverse only? Eager to learn..... THANKS!!
