Hmmmm, I was going to say a nice VF and perhaps it wasn't well struck. However, if that's a carbon spot on the obverse (and not just dirt that can be carefully removed), that can be a major detractor.

I picked this coin up today for $65 from a coin shop here in town. There are three coin shops in town all owned by the same person the main shop all coins are not marked with prices the are quoted as you ask for them but the other two shops have coin that have been there for several years and all the coins are marked with a price. I was looking at a 1931s at the main store a week ago and they had it marked at $120 looked about same condition as this one, so when I saw this coin at one of the other shops today I couldnt pass it up.

WOW! That's a fantastic price! You got one helluv a deal. Even in Good, they are at least $90.

EDIT: I'm bored....

These are generally well struck coins. You might squeeze F15, but I think the head, wheathead wear and carbon spot take it out of VF. IMO, I like the wheatheads to have at least 90% lines for VF, I give this one about 50-60%. Also, wear is pretty evident on the hair above the ear. The general order of wear is cheek>jaw>hair.

F15-18 somewhere in there. the obverse looks unevenly struck but the reverse is clear, the lack of detail is wear and so a vf is definitely too high
