Spence Moderator United States 34431 Posts	Posted 03/02/2016 10:02 pm With a left-facing portrait of King George II (1729-1754), there are no dates that command much of a premium. There are two over-dates and one error legend that will get you about a 2x premium, but I agree with jerseyben on the value estimate of about five bucks. It looks to me like the obv legend is GEORGIVS II REX (with a letter V instead of a letter U). That would narrow down the date range to 1746-1754. Since the third digit in the date is a 4, the date range is '46 to '49. It would be interesting for you to provide follow-up photos once you have this coin in hand.
