Ok guys, I bought this a few days after Christmas and have been selfishly enjoying it the last 2 months but it's time to share

Most of you know that I'm a big toner collector with a specialty in those with unique patterns. Well, when I saw this absolutely gorgeous display I had that tingle in my leg and knot in my gut as I knew it would be mine in the end. That intense feeling is rare and when it hits you you better strike or you'll regret it for a long time. Knowing this I struck and now have a centerpiece in my unusual toner collection

Individual pics done by Todd Pollock of BluCC as I thankfully took it with me to long beach and he was there.

So lets get the convo going. Like it or love it or anywhere in between

Individual coin pics are in order from left to right with correct obverses...

Either that old thin type of transparent tape or the more likely culprit was one of those old albums that had no plastic sleeves, just holes with a cardboard strip in the reverse that prevented the coins from slipping through

Certainly a one only unique set. Toning is unusual for a Morgan. Must have been a very early album type.

The only thing that would drive me crazy is not having them in date order. My fingers would twitch...

That is a very interesting group of Morgan dollars.

In a really cool holder.

I know a few tone dollar collectors that would really
Over that set.

Thanks for sharing that.

Very nice. I had never seen a 5 coin holder like this graded by NGC. The 97 is amazing.

Dave, I have 3 vammed

97... v7
82o.. v22a
03... 13

If you see anything with the 79s or 80s let me know. And the 79s appears to have a low obverse collar clash I believe

Nothing is jumping out at me. 1879-S and 1880-S can be a bear to attribute from (optimized) photos.

Geez, Cascade. Those are really spectacular. Astonishing. I know that feeling all too well. I just wish I had deeper pockets to keep up with that feeling. Hehe. Where did you acquire this piece?

Yup. You got that right jbuck only this siren led to prosperity as opposed to a dismal fate

Is there an anti-siren siren in Greek mythology? Probably not because it's all doom and gloom lol
