Some of the stuff I'm seeing might just be reflections on the slab but I'll go with AU58

You guys can work as graders for WCG and USCG
Those are way too high, although ANACS was a little harsh on my grade, IMO

Im agreeing with the VF'rs at best. The wheats are pretty worn.

XF-40. There seems to be more obv. wear than rev. wear. I'd take it any day over mine though!

Thanks,

Jim

I just got back a 1914-D from PCGS and it is very similar to this coin. It graded 20 so I go 20/25

I have found that these coins photograph poorly through the slab, so it's difficult to grade from pics. It looks like there is still separation between the cheek and jaw though the coin would have to be tilted for the pics to see it. The wheat ears look strong. I think this one graded at VF25-30.

ANACS graded VF20 details, cleaned.
The cleaning part is fine, but the coin looked VF20/VF35, which most of you agree. So VF20 was pretty harsh.
All my coins that I just got graded came back lower and I think they are tightening up their grading to earn the new ANACS some respect. If it was uncleaned, I would have PCGS or NGC cross it, but in this case, I'm stuck. :(
