Quote: Would love to know which lots you picked up ... I'm guessing it's some of the world accumulations. I was very impressed with the coins in those lots (picked up a couple for myself). I won one of the large German lots and 7 or 8 other world lots... Unfortunately, the night of the auction, my wife had an event for work that I was instructed I needed to be at, so I had to go with prebids... There were some really nice lots that went for very good prices...

Nice. I just picked up my lots today in Moncton - one is a German lot - can't wait to look through them better.

Anyone make it to the seminars?
Seems the kids had fun and Mike Marshall's presentation was a real eye opener.

Yes, Mike's talk was great. Anyone who buys Mint NCLT crap should spend $20 on his disc. It would pay for itself 100 times over.

Disc? Didn't know Mike had any for sale. Would have been interesting to buy one for the club. Can you still purchase them?

Check his ebay listings, he usually has a CD-Rom of the counterfeit coins, and he produced a 2nd disc for the new NCLT stuff.

Here's my 1909 5 cents Cross/Bowtie that I bought at the auction. One of the lesser known, rarer varieties of the 5 cent silver series. I haven't seen one of these at auction yet but there are a few dozen graded by ICCS. Never know what a fair price is for these lesser known varieties so it's hard to tell if you've overpaid or not. It fills a huge hole in my set so it's worth every penny to me.

That is a very nice coin. The examples I've seen in hand have all been lower grades.
Thanks for posting.

Thought you were going to make it. That is why I looked. All 3 would have sold south of 500 ea. MM
