Since I joined this forum, everyone keeps asking for photos, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm still learning on how to get the best photos. Here's a treasure from my nickel collection. I found this mixed in a jar of coins.

One suggestion.
Try using a black/dark gray non-reflective background (a sheet of black kindergarten construction paper works well).
The light reflected from a white background can overpower the light reflected from a coin, particularly copper coins.

This was when a Nickel had real Value (ie; Woolworths Five & Dime), 5¢ sodas & Hershey's Chocolate Candy Bars (even in the mid-60's)..
