Today I found my first silver coin metal detecting. I believe its a 1876 Victoria dime? Sorry my camera sucks!

Congrats on your first silver find, keep at it you'll find more. If it is an 1876H then you got 1 of 10,000 minted and it's worth a few bucks even in worn condition. I was fortunate today and found a small coin spill of 1922, 1930 KG nickels and a 1919 KG dime, they were stacked in the same hole. Do you have a jewelers loupe or a magnifying glass to put on the camera lense for better pics. Pics of both sides would be great.

I use half of a bb gun scope but yes I'll try to get better pics tomorrow.

No.. it should only be on the obverse... reverse will have date and denomination

I'm leaning towards this coin being a Canada 1872H ten cent, after comparing side by sides and the faint lettering placement to Victoria's neck.

I can't tell! All I can see is a crown above 10 then cent under that it looks like 1872 187 for sure
