ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 06/05/2016 01:28 am I have had a few coins sent into consevation..already blast white coins that just needed spot removal..and, I did get 1 grade higher when done, so, was very happy. I have a proof 1962 Franklin half dollar that is gorgeous violet toned..but, IT has 3 crappy corrosion spots that really need to be removed. My question is..can NGC leave my overall toning and remove the spots, or, will the coin be dipped, and, I lose it? Would rather leave as is, if toning goes away. Comments welcomed! Hopefully, things will turn in my favor. I've heard stories both ways, so, time will tell. Glad to post pics when their photo service has them ready to download. I decided to pay the 5 bucks for good pics on my proofs...it will more than pay for itself with ebay sales, where these new high resolution shots have become so nice now, putting my lame shots to shame.
