Based on the photos posted I would say the old gens pass and the new gens may have been viewed as average and not green bean. This assumes they meet PL and DMPL standards which tend to be difficult to discern from static photos. The 1883 should be a gold bean. Nice group of Morgans regardless.

Here are the CAC results:
1) Yes Green
2) No
3) Yes Green
4) Yes Green

1) I bought the 78S off a coin dealer who purchased the coin raw and submitted to NGC and he felt the coin should have been a 66PL. I submitted it to CAC and was pleased to get the green sticker.

2) CAC likes the mirrors on their sticker DMPL to be strong, so I guess the 83 did not sticker because the mirrors are not up to CAC standard. I also feel the coin looks a grade higher.

3) I purchased the 88 O already with the CAC sticker at no premium. I was a little disappointed when I got the coin in hand. I did question the CAC sticker, but it does have strong mirrors for a PL.

4) The 87 O is in a Fatty holder and I was hoping to get a gold sticker when I submitted the coin.
