Have had this a while thinking it could be undergraded plus it is exceptionally well struck which is rare for early 1940's walkers from San Francisco. Thoughts?

Typical S weak strike, other than a couple very small tics, it's almost flawless. MS-66 for me.

IGE it's a very above average strike actually I have worse specimens. Very little marks in the fields. I think this is a upgrade

Well it's pretty much settled even when I got it from my coin dealer he was like its at least a 65. I'm cracking it out tomorrow and sending to NGC with a submission soon.

Probably in a 65 holder. If the strike were better it would be a 66!

Nice coin!

It looks like it could make MS-66.

PCGS graded it an ms64....someone must have had a bad day grading. I did the best to get as good a pic as possible. Granted there are some trivial marks near 3 o'clock obverse side but nothing keeping it from at least a 65 or better.

Resubmission worthy? Don't know what the price jump is from 64 to 66, as I'm in study hall and too lazy to check anything, LOL.

I think PCGS might be nice and give you a 66, possibly a 67. Don't know what the highest grade is, probably 67/68

I'm saving it to send in until after I potentially buy my cousins 80 or so Morgan's from her late husband....she has 2x 1878cc and a 1891cc along with a few other nice coins.
