I was looking through my dads collection of coins he has and found prince Charles and lady Diana coin dating 1981 so I looked online to see if I could find any information on it, I found many different commemorative coins for the royal wedding but not this exact one any information or help will be much appreciated.

Your piece is not actually a coin, it is a privately-struck souvenir medal from the Birmingham Mint.
