Weak strike? Grease Filled Die? Something else? There is no Abe in the Memorial, no initials and the roof is floating. Also the second 9 in the date is weak as well but everything else seems ok. What do ya'll think? I appreciate any information.

Not a weak strike because the rims are all there. It is a well known over abraded die and well worth a 2x2. Congrats.

Sometimes called the levitating or floating roof variety. As John1 said, overpolishing of the die is the cause.

Not missing 'FG'. It was removed along with a lot of the fields on the die. probably why the weak looking reverse rim. The missing die field area would give less than a normal strike because of the thickness of the fields being reduced (also removing the shallow devices like the roof and FG areas). So it is not a weak strike, just beyond the adjustment because of the reduction of the die, for a normal strike.
