I wanted to see what a "perfect" coin looked like this is a PCGS Certified PR70DCAM

With all those "Milk Spots" this is struggling to be a PR68 coin.
NO way is this a 70

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think that milk spots can appear after slabbing.
Si PCGS may have been correct when they gave the grade.

Maybe you could send it back to PCGS for replacement using the PCGS guarantee

I agree .. spots can appear after being slabbed.

More of a chance of getting spots if the coin, and slab, are not kept
in a good environment.

Rest in Peace

This is an old story. The spots appeared after slabbing because of the chemical wash used at the mint. That's what I remember, anyway.

This MAY have been a PR70 when graded but it certainly isn't a 70 now and definitely not worth any sort of premium.

on your first slabbed coin!

Sorry about the spots. Hopefully this will work out for you.

Post a new pic once you get it in hand.

Cancelled the order before they shipped it

I had bought from great collections they were, as usual, great to work with. Must have slipped through

Isn't a PR70 a technical grade? If so it is still a PR70 but it does have milk spots which takes away the eye appeal. I do believe the spots can appear after slabbing.

The smallest imperfection will preclude a 70 grade, That includes Milk Spots.

That's what I thought 70's were supposed to be as perfect as was technically possible.
