I found this yesterday and the die chips on the reverse leaf appears to be another long one.It runs from the top arrow to the middle arrow. The bottom is a small chip. The obverse has a few also pointed out with arrows. The third picture shows a curve that is recessed into the coin.It runs from top arrow to bottom arrow. Cool coin! Thanks for looking and any and all advice is greatly appreciated! Have a good one!
The 1999-P one you found was a lot nicer. This one is just a few chips. More like the common ones we see often here. The reason they are raised is on the coin is that a piece is missing off the die. When a die has a chip develop on it, then the coin will be raised. If this were incuse (sund in on the coin) on the coin, then it probably would be coin damage to the coin. PSD. There are a few things on a coin that would be incuse on the coin that could happen at the mint, but probably 90 percent of the time it is coin damage that is the issue.
