http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearc...=mmom&page=1Hopefully I posted the correct link above. Recently tried matching an rpm and it seemd to match 1962 1MM-15 mds but is it just me or do the mds and lds seem to be different dies? MM location does not seem to match up to me. Looked it over a number of times now so id love to hear others opinions on this one-I'll post my actual coin later when I take pics because I wasn't positive about the match anyway thanks Edited by Slamnbass 12/10/2016 3:55 pm

MM placement looks the same to me. Can you do an over-lay using CC's pics? John1

You may be right Slamnbass - one appears further to the right than the other?

Here it is - photos used with permission. Maybe I did it wrong, but looks to be not quite the same? I matched the mintmarks.

Nice job Pete thanks! I'm pretty convinced now that they are different-even the metal flow of the die is slightly different

You are welcome. Would the die flow stay exactly the same on to different die states? Not sure about that. Perhaps a slight difference in die flow is only reflective of 2 different Die States?

The mint mark location must be different. The date digits are no where near where they should be.

Mint mark location can fail to line up if the two coins were photographed from different angles, but I don't think those two are even the same RPM. The MDS RPM is much farther to the left, that is noticeable without doing an overlay.
