Looks like it but can't tell for sure if it is a die crack or not - but if it is then yes it is considered a Spike head (Must touch the rim and also the head).

Lets see what the other think about that area itself.

I'm now well versed on spike heads, But I do believe that if the die crack extends into any part of the head it would be a die crack. Nice find! I personally would like to see the whole obverse.
