How To Identify Burnished Eagles - Coin Community Forum

spbterry New Member United States 10 Posts	Posted 06/21/2017 06:58 am I have a 2016 W Uncirculated Eagle and a 2016 W Uncirculated Burnished Eagle I purchased from the same reputable dealer. I can't see a difference, except the box from the mint has a sticker in addition to the bar code. The sticker says, "2016-W Burnished American Silver Eagle Coin" Should I be able to see the difference? I also compared to other BU Eagle and they look the same. Report this Post to the Staff

Debrajc Pillar of the Community United States 4211 Posts	Posted 06/21/2017 10:08 am terry! and if they both have a "W" mint mark they are both the burnished bullion coin. The regular 2016 bullion coin would not have a mint mark. Report this Post to the Staff
