I found a 1991 p dime in my change (of all places, huh?) and was comparing it to a '67 dime when I realised the latin on the back was incomplete. It's missing the "usu" to the right of the torch. Anybody got an idea of how many turned out like this? Better question I've got is do these hold much value?

See if this works. Lol. Camera phone pic but it's clearly visible.

It doesn't show signs of the "usu" being worn away by either circulation or sanding/grinding, so it does appear to be from a partially Grease Filled Die. Wait for other opinions. Nice find

to the Forum. Looks neat. The leaf over top of it looks a little weak, so I think it's probably a Struck Through Grease error rather than over-polished. These are common errors, but when interesting like yours, are collected. They trade for a few dollars as long as the design is not visible from any angle. Not a bad return for a dime. It's late, I'll be back tomorrow.

It looks like a partially grease-filled die ( Struck Through Grease). I can make out just a little of the "U" in UNUM but, the rest looks to be completely filled. Good eye.

I found almost exactly the same! 1991 P only mine is missing the first you and the s but the 2nd you is as visable as the rest of e pluribus unum' s letters. And mine seems to be off center with a bit of railroading around 9-11 o'clock on obverse... Any further discussion on the topic with this addition would be appreciated!
