It closely resembles the 4 ducat K2276, which was issued with dates 1872-1915. Missing from your example is the (4) beneath the eagle. Since it was never struck in 1495, it cannot be a restrike of that date. Has it been tested to see if it is gold? Report this Post to the Staff

Maybe it is one of those imitations made of gold that are made in the middle east. I have seen them for British Sovereigns. Correct gold and weight, but not made in the UK.
