Well actually uncirculated, the proofs will be out later, unless Congress (which is the opposite of progress) finds something illegal in striking those!?!?! May I present the 2008 Sacagawea's

Now I am really hating our govt... They are striking all those excessive prez dollars... AND they are still striking sacs? Why in the heck do we need so many dollar coins? You know what I mean? This is equivalent to having 1975 and 1976 regular quarters, while the Bicens were being issued. Or can you see years of State Quarters, and regular strikes still being issued and circulated each year of the series?!? huh are they thinking?

I believe the 2008, along with a few previous years of them are NIFC. They are only being produced for collectors. ....I think.

Did you buy a roll or did you boy them from the dealer? How would you say the over all quality of the 2008 Sac's are?

there not that many pres so they are keeping the sac's alive to go back to.if you look on the mint sets and proof sets that the sac. is the coin.the pres set are made as a off coin set.i got a 4 coin carter set.or the first 4 pres.as his rendering.his has the date and mint mark on the front.i will dig them out and start a new topic on them.

I like your dollar coins too. Almost as nice as our Aussie dollar coins. Just wish I could find a few over here in change LOL.

Nice Sac's........I haven't been in a hurry to order mine just because I want to combine "one order" with several different things.......2008 Silver Proof Set, Kennedy rolls, Sacs, Quarters silver proof set, a few others maybe and possibly the next commemorative. It's getting hard to wait......but I think it's better and a little cheaper to wait and get it all on one order !

Amazon99, I just bought a couple of sets from a guy with a mint subscription, didn't want the rolls, but when they start the different reverses a roll or two of the original design might not be a bad idea. As to condition not bad for being bounced in storage since Nov. '07 but not pristine, a few marks. I have had them on order since Jan. am just happy to get them! Another set updated!

I ordered a roll ea of P, D mints. I was going to keeps a few for my collection and offer the rest here but now I'm thinking. As mentioned earlier amybe hanging on to the roll will be better in the long run.
