I can't find anything on the AM (close or touching) past 2000.... Did it at some point become normal for the A and M to touch on the bottom inside corners or did I maybe find something worth keeping? :)

In 1993 the reverse of the LMC business strikes was changed to the CAM reverses like your 2005 there. Most of these that are well struck like yours tend to have very close AMs. This is totally normal and not an error.
In 1992 there were some LMCs "accidentally" released with the reverse of the upcoming 1993 CAM reverse. This is why we look for CAMs on the 1992 LMC.
From 1998-2000, in Philly, some business strike LMCs were "accidentally" struck with the same reverse as the proofs. Creating the 1998P-2000P WAM errors.
I don't believe there are any known WAM or CAM errors after 2000.
