1973 Lincoln Penny Denver Mint Mark Error

I am not a coin collector but have saved coins that I am organizing and found this 1973 Lincoln Penny from the Denver Mint with the mint mark near the word "trust" is this a common or a rare error? Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 02/19/2018 4:11 pm W/o clear pix it isn't possible to diagnose anything. All I can tell is damage to the rim at 1 oclock. The area under the ST looks like staining, a drop of something caustic reacted to the copper in an unusual way. Not an error, just circulation damages Report this Post to the Staff

Sometimes some grease residue is on the coin and it alters the color that radiates out from that area. It is a stain, but not from an external source, but from the grease on the coin. Did you find in this in a OBW roll? That would explain why it was not smeared off the coin. (The last image made me think of a cheerio.) Then the solution was recalled to me.
