Hello

This is my first time posting here. I have a few coins I believe may be errors, but would like to hear some of your opinions. I will just start with a couple.

The first is a 1976 Bicentennial Quarter. I am wondering if this is doubling, MD, or neither.

The second is a 1939 Nickel with possible doubling or MD of "Monticello" mostly on the M and O.

I also added a picture of a 1956 D/D that I found.

Thank you!

to the CCF!

The nickel looks like MD, and the quarter looks like DDD.

Thanks for the welcome and the info! So these are probably not worth much more than face value?
Rest in Peace

to the forum.

It would help to see more of the quarter, date/mm? And not so glarey. The Jeff is damaged, ALL of Monticello is visably doubled in any grade/die state.

BTW, the quarter is Die Deterioration Doubling, die flow has caused stretching of the devices toward the outside rim.

Try looking through the links below will help ya!

The only real error variety here is the 1956 D/D RPM-001 FS-501.

RPMs are varieties, not an error.

It is best to make a thread for each coin and tell use more about it with more images. From just one image, there is usually not much we can say for sure on you coin.

Rest in Peace

Hey Coop, thank you I will do it that way from now on! And thank you Spruett001! It was the first one in a stack of 1956-D's that I was looking through.
