The coin appears accurately graded, but may not be high end of the grade because of the cheek marks. On the DMPL coins the graders take a couple other things into consideration like the depth of the mirrors, the frosty devices, and the contrast. If you want a second opinion on how strong the coin is, send it to CAC.

Looks like an MS-65 CC DMPL to me. Perhaps not a high end 65, but a 65 nonetheless.
Beautiful black and white contrast, the mirrors look deep enough to shave with! DMPL's are difficult to grade as every mark is magnified from the mirrored fields and the thick frost on the portrait really emphasizes every little mark or scuff.
If this was an 80-S, it would be an MS-64......but it's a Carson City and gets the bump in grading. Always have, always will. Those coins had a hard ride from the mint and it's truly a miracle that any survived in this condition.
A very desirable and beautiful piece!
