Strange story. I went to the bank to get a box of nickels and any $2. The guy came back from the vault with a box of nickels and 4 rolls of halves. He asked me If I would be interested in them? I said; Sure I'll take them why not! Boy was I glad that I took them. I not only found 1,But 25 Kennedy proof coins in those 4 rolls. The 72' is the worst one(posted) the majority are in pretty good shape. What's the odds of this great find?

Excellent!

By the looks of it, the proofs were probably in an album, and the owner threw in the towel when they stated to tone. I found a stray proof or two in most of the (very few) half boxes I searched, but nothing like this!

Don't forget to weigh the proofs after 1992 to see if they're silver!

Thanks all! needless to say I was amazed at this great find. I didn't weigh any of them because the edge looks like a normal strike. No silver. If I soaked them in olive oil would that remove the skin oil tarnish? Should I just keep them as is? Thanks in advance!

Not olive oil. Use 100% acetone, but wait and see if anyone knows how acetone works on proofs.

Nice looking coins. At one time I save all of the proof coins that I found roll searching. I ended up with several with a bunch of those as half dollars. I kept all the silver ones and dumped all the others at one time. I think it was probably about 150 or so of them. I have found at least two or maybe three proof coins in circulation this week alone. I don't keep them unless they are silver. Almost all of the ones I find are terribly abused. Just too many to keep them all.

Agreed, sounds plausible. Certainly looks like a collection dump.

It is acetone or nothing for these coins. You could take precautions when using acetone, otherwise I would just leave the coins as they are. Olive oil will ruin them.

Someone dumped their clad proofs, nice haul. Never use olive oil on any coin, it's organic and acidic, and corrosive.
