I'm in the market for a Twenty Cent Piece. I've been looking at a lot of these.

I need a reality check. Question: Does the color on this guy look right to you?

The coin looks original to me. Color may vary from one screen to the next. As far as price goes, I can't comment.

color looks fine. You have a 14 day return privilege so if it has hairlines or something else is wrong, just send it back. Personally I would rather buy a graded example to avoid the headache.

75 S aren't that pricey, get one already graded.

Looks good to me. If you're confident in your grading capabilities you could wait for a nice XF/AU to pop up on ebay. I snagged a nice AU off ebay a few years ago for $200

It looks okay to me. There are definitely better examples out there in the XF/AU range. You might try checking out Gerry Fortin's website - he usually has some good double dimes for sale.

BTW, I just saw an 1875-CC double dime for sale on ebay for $60.

After awhile you (I) kinda get wrapped around the axle on this stuff. I'm not a grader or dealer, so it's not that easy. All the coins start to look the same after awhile.

A little background. I have a $120 budget, so it's not going to be a high end coin. Just looking for a nice example for my Dansco type set. MikeF and basebal21 convinced me to go with a slabbed coin to eliminate any problems and reduce the potential of getting ripped off.

Thanks to all for the reality check.
