I assume it is now impossible to show us the edge of the rim...

I am not convinced it is a legit straight clip. There should be weakness in the denticles above the clip and the rims pinch inward, and not dovetail outward.

you can see the metal build up where the rim was pushed in on the reverse. not a clip in my opinion. plus what SPP said.
