I found this quarter the other day. I first noticed the ridge on the outside of the quarter was not right. It only has ridging on the silver part but not on the copper part. Then I noticed that the picture on the back isn't right either. The mountain part next to the man is missing all of it's detail.

If the edge had been normal, I would have thought a Struck Through Grease issue. But with the edge with the reeds removed, I feel it was altered carefully.
