It was given to my boyfriend. It was not found or bought.

The rough, bubbly surfaces and edge seam (as seen in the 2nd picture) identify this as a cast copy or replica.

Color, surfaces, denticals, seam, weight, everything about the coin is wrong. Everything points to it being a fake.

Unless the guy's name was Dreamboat Moneybags and was willing to spend more on a coin that most spend on an engagement ring, it's a replica.

100 % Fake.
The beads forming the inner circle are not
round on a genuine pine tree as per the
posters coin.
