It is the 2006 no P magnetic cent that has value.
Yours is just a regular business strike.

Keep searching though, there are good finds out there.

Jimmy is correct. I have searched around 2 million pennies over the years and found 47 of them and sold a few ranging from US$30 - 220 depending on condition. I have only found 2 magnetic with p and none non magnetic with p. But have not sent any for grading. If yours is non magnetic then its worth 1 cent

stuffguy-
First of all, I am not mistaken. Whoever is giving you advise is wrong.
I will try to explain.
All copper plated zinc cents (non-magnetic) have no "P" composition mark.
When the mint introduced Multi-plated steel (magnetic), the
"P" composition mark was added to distinguish the two as they
were both minted in 2006.
Somehow during the minting of the non-magnetic zinc plated cents, (With no "P" mark)
some of the Magnetic plated steel planchets made their way into the hopper.
It is these magnetic cents with no "P" that are the valuable ones, not the regular no "P" non magnetic.

If you still want to believe your other source of information, then by all means go ahead but it was
you that asked for opinions on this Canadian Coin Forum.

easiest way to find out is search eBay sold auctions for it , you will see,,by the way even if yours is the scarce one its really not worth the money to send it for grading in that condition

I guess that means that the other 886 million plus 2006 non-magnetic cents minted would be worth around that too.
And what about the billions of other no S non-magnetic coins minted in previous years. What would they be worth?

Well done demonstration gidjit, but as you can probably remember
from some of the previous postings here, no matter how much you
can prove something, people are still going to say you are wrong.
Personally, I'm through posting on this subject.

it's the P non magnetic that sold for $3000. yours clearly does not have the P under the queen. that is what JimmyD and gidgit are trying to tell you.
