I'm pretty sure this coin is fake due to the mushy details on the obverse and the N in ONE on the reverse. The seller is 'piratesdiver'. I looked at his other listings and a couple of them also looked suspicious.

a poor example of a fake. There are several different counterfeits for this date.

I see a lot of "Seller" feedback that influences his total "Attaboy" score more than that from "buyers".

These fakes are quite prolific on the forty thieves site for about $5, even includes shipping from Shanghai...



A real pitted/ED 1858 FE can be purchased for around that at most auctions...
