Thank you for the welcome and thank you for moving my post to the correct section! This was in my late father's estate and after inspecting it closer, I saw the misprint and cannot find much information about it. Any knowledge or leads would be greatly appreciated. Is it a rare find? Are people interested in collecting a misprint such as this? Etc... Thank you for to your responses.

I don't think it's necessarily 'rare', but it may fetch a few extra dollars on a site like ebay. There are some people who collect smaller errors like this, but not many.

To CCF! Coins are minted not printed, so misprint wouldn't make any sense. you mean error of course. It was Struck Through Grease partially, causing the "E" in "STATES" to not form completely, making it look like a "L". That's pretty cool though. http://www.error-ref.com/struck-thr...-grease-oil/
