Damaged, dinged,scratched,ran over,gouged.it is a pretty beat up coin without any error.

Definitively PMD. It is only an error if it was done at the mint. Anything else no matter how it was done is PMD. So when looking for error coins, just ask yourself if it is possible for this to be done during the striking of the coin.

Not an error. It's just a heavily damaged coin. It's only worth face value now, since it's a cull coin.

In my opinion the nickle was a struck through error coin because of the bottom part of "E" & "R". It's not a PMD.
