I see no doubling - maybe a few more shots!
My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell all my coins for what I told her I paid for them.

Working on a Dansco 8167 Kennedy half album while waiting for the 8166's to become back in stock.

ok probably is not a Doubling but, it looks so perfect and you can see the shadow on the top of In GOD.

I'm sorry, but that's not an error. It's damage from a coin wrapping machine. It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). The metal has been flattened and pushed over. It's worth face value.
Errors and Varietys, the CCF 911 responder and helper. ;-)

The shadow you see is the original size of the device that has been smashed inwards, see how it has pushed the metal on the IN?

Coin wrappers don't affect the rim area of coins. They are a bit more central located.





Vending machines make damage that is parallel to the rim, just like the OP's coin.
