Hey everyone
I found this 1973 D Lincoln Memorial cent and on the reverse Lincoln looks like he has 3 legs what are your guys' thoughts on it?

Good one! Had me going for a minute. It is an optical illusion, the two darker areas are legs, the lighter is the throne.


Either that or it's obscene...

Die Subsidence Errors

This may have affected the integrity of the statue area also?

Common problem with several dies this year. If you look at the left cornice area you can see the die altering there.
