Possible Error On 1923 Peace Dollar

Auroraborealis New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/29/2018 6:11 pm Hello I was comparing my 1923 Peace dollars today and I have one that almost looks like it's high relief. The b and the e in Liberty are pretty bold and it's definitely a noticeable difference from a regular one. Is anybody aware of a possible error and do you have any advice on where I should take it? What exactly is the problem you are having with your pictures? There may be someone here who can help. Also, there were no High Relief Peace dollars struck in 1923. JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21869 Posts	Posted 08/30/2018 12:26 pm As I mentioned earlier, there are no high relief 1923 Peace dollars. They were all minted as low relief. Looks like the letters on your coin may have been flattened slightly by taking a hit that makes them look thicker. It is only an error if it was done at the mint so this is not considered an error.
