I found this today and it looks like it could be a double stamp of the mint mark?

Looks like zinc rot to me.
Seems common around MMs

It's on the 5 also. Looks like a greaser or damage maybe from a wrapper machine. Doubling on a MM would be called a RPM.

I don't think that is zinc rot. Looks like something "on" the coin.

Looks like slight MD and and a bit of grease issue on the date and mint mark area. That area is also hit by coin wrapper also. But not double stamped. (Struck would be the more correct word instead of stamp) But business strike coins are only struck once. This one was just struck once.
