I think it is MD. Looks to be flat and shelf-like from your pictures. IMHO, not a DDR. Keep looking and happy hunting!

Doubled dies should be obvious or if you think they could be make side by sides of them. That way you will stop looking at the edges of the devices where the Machine Doubling is. Also if you suspect a DDR on the shield cents, look at the initials?


Again look at the tops of the devices fro a spread, or enlarging of the devices. Forget looking at the edges of devices.
