This thread just to share, no question at all.
Very intresting toning, I would probably thought it is proof issue, but it wasn't produced in 1920. I bought this coin with others for 2$, will show real photos when it will arrive.

I'd say AU cleaned at some point. Just my thoughts. Still, a very nice coin for the price!

That would be my guess as well - old cleaning that is re-toning unevenly. Still most attractive!

That's not all toning, that's corrosion. It's just not all been cleaned off.
