It's actually a 'Marcy' note. The man pictured on it is William Marcy. This is what it looks like..

Interesting note, interesting story.

If I read Wheat's article correctly, there are only 2 known:

1. Smithsonian
2. Privately held

Crazy! That 2nd one probably should find its way to a museum too.
