Ciao, here a very strange and interesting coin.
A piece of 20 Rappen 1908, from Switzerland, which shows clear signs of a multi struck error or a multiple doubled die...
But the coin looks as a contemporary counterfeit to me.
What do you think?

The details: 3,50 g. - 21 mm.

At least according to numista, this piece is light (should be 4 g). Is your attracted to a magnet?

No, the magnet does not attract the coin.

Ok well, then I'm inclined to believe that your coin is not real, but rather a counterfeit. I don't see much wear, so I'm thinking that it didn't circulate widely. Perhaps you can share a little how you got this piece? It may be a modern fake rather than a contemporary counterfeit.

I think it is a contemporary counterfeit, the material looks very similar to other contemporary counterfeits I own, from Switzerland and Italy. Modern fakes normally are made with different metals, not so grey. By the way, I've found it in a box of coins full of Swiss coins and world coins, it was the only "strange" one, the other ones where all normal coins.
