1952-2002 50 Cent Pieces With Small Die Chip

Dbl-A New Member Canada 2 Posts	Posted 03/17/2019 6:20 pm Greetings, just wanted to share some interesting pieces that I found in an original roll that I purchased at the post office back in 2002. It was a roll of commemorative 50 cent pieces celebrating the Queen's Golden Jubilee. I noticed in the lower left corner, below the Queen's bow what to the bare eye looked like a second smaller P. After further magnification and enquiring of an experienced coin collector, the small P turns out to be a die chip. I discovered 12 coins in the roll with this identical die chip. Just curious if anyone else has one of these? Sorry about the quality of the images. I found it really hard to get the right angle and lighting to show the die chip really well.
