Greetings, just wanted to share some interesting pieces that I found in an original roll that I purchased at the post office back in 2002. It was a roll of commemorative 50 cent pieces celebrating the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
I noticed in the lower left corner, below the Queen's bow what to the bare eye looked like a second smaller P. After further magnification and enquiring of an experienced coin collector, the small P turns out to be a die chip. I discovered 12 coins in the roll with this identical die chip.
Just curious if anyone else has one of these?
Sorry about the quality of the images. I found it really hard to get the right angle and lighting to show the die chip really well.

Good eye. Paying that close attention to detail will surely add to your enjoyment of the hobby. Not all discoveries
have to have a monetary advancement to be worth while.
Welcome to the hobby and to CCF.

Thanks john100 and nickelsguy for the helpful thoughts. One of my favourite things to do is grab a magnifying glass and a handful of change. I've come across a lot of face value oddities that way, maybe one day I'll score something very rare or very odd, until then I'll just enjoy looking.
