Grandpa started me collecting pennies in 1959 at Christmastime. I did well over the years and when I was working I traveled a lot, so I got to see the west coast frequently. Since retiring on the east coast I am having trouble. I need D pennies from about the last 10 years. Can anyone direct me to a source to buy them. Thanks in advance.

Jim

to CCF. eBay or a local coin shop near you.

You could also ask friends and relatives, who knows they might catch the bug and we would have some new blood in the hobby.
When you have enough posts, you can buy/sell/trade here on CCF.

I looked on EBay and usually the shipping is more than the coin. Ideally, I'd like to buy them all from one dealer, but so far I can't find one that has them all.

There is only 1 local coin dealer. I'll call him in the morning.

Thanks for the help.

I can send you some. I live on the west coast (utah) and can easily get them. Need 2010 through 2018? Not graded right?

Look up coin shows in your area. If you go to one you should be able to find those and cheap. And yes keep away from ebay.

I have an extensive coin collection, including my Grandfather's, which he started in 1909. There are only a few items missing, and they are all beyond my budget. Thus, since I have few questions, I doubt that I will ever meet the 50 post requirement to have anyone here sell me any coins.

My single local coin dealer sells only unc, for $1.00 apiece, so that seems excessive for what I really need. Coin shows are few and far between.

Thanks to all that replied.

Local coin shows might provide information about local coin clubs and other local collectors with whom you may trade.

You might also ask your local dealer if you were to buy a run of dates, say 2010-2019 P+D, what kind of deal would he be willing to cut you.
