Could This Be A "close Am"? 1994 Lincoln Penny

CoastieGirl83 New Member Canada 4 Posts	Posted 07/01/2019 02:20 am Hey there, I was wondering if anyone felt like giving me their Two Cents (pardon the pun,) about whether or not this could be a "Close AM." From everything I've read, I haven't found an error in 1994 Lincoln Pennies with a Close AM. I thought they were only other years. But, both myself and my boyfriend keep looking at this coin and we are both insistent the A and M in America are pretty much touching, which looks like an error. The first photo is the hopeful "Close AM," the second is a regular penny for comparison, and the 3rd is the obverse side of the potential "Close AM." Thanks for any input you might have! It is the location of the 'M" between the 'AME' on America that makes if a wide or a close 'AM'. On the Wide AM the 'M' is centered between A_M_E. On the Close AM it looks like this AM_E.
