Renniks lists a RARE dot between 1 and 9 but is this only a cud? Actually the blob looks like my dog.

Cuds by definition have to involve a coin's rim.

This is the American definition of a cud, but for Aussies, the correct term is 'cud'.

Aussie and Usa names for things can vary, so take notice of Aussie definitions. Having said that I would call it a blob not a dot.
